Artist Bio

began using unusual techniques for creating sculpture in high school (a very long time ago). She was originally drawn to sculpture and creations in jewelry through casting metals. Eventually physical limitations moved her to working in sculpturing clay, and adding stained glass and other materials. To learn color theory for the glazing, she took up watercolor painting and her world expanded quickly. The vital skills of seeing was taught to her. Moving from simple stained glass in her sculptures, she has been learning, and inventing, the difficult techniques of glass fusing and casting, and once again, her universe expands and inspires. She often includes spiritual imagery and concepts in her work.
